Classes 5-220 and 215 learned all about the early civilizations of the Aztecs and Mayans during a visit to the American Museum of Natural History. Students analyzed old artifacts and visual images to identify how geography played a role in the development of early societies and civilizations. We looked at how these cultures have changed to date, what are some of the lasting influences these cultures have on our world today, and how did the cultures of the past compare with the cultures of today.
