A very exciting day was had by all in Kindergarten on Tuesday, it was the 100th Day of School! Many students brought in projects they made at home and were excited to share with their classmates. Thank you to all of our families who helped these projects come to life. They are all on display for you to see!
Each class participated in different activities focused on the number 100; including counting to 100 by ones, tens, and fives, and counting on from a given number to 100. K-209 made crowns, did 100 exercises, wrote about what they wished they could 100 of, and made bags of 100 snacks. We also filled a 100’s pocket chart with the numbers 1-100.
Check out what some of our other Kindergarten classes did to celebrate.
Celebrating the number 100 is not only an academic achievement for our students, but also marks the middle of the year and is a time to reflect on what we’ve done and what we have yet to do in the spring.
